Where it started
John Elliot initially started as a farmer in 1968 and successfully grew the business to incorporate agricultural contracting services in 1975.
Since that time, John Elliot Ltd has evolved into a multi-disciplined, specialist contractor offering a wide range of services, including drainage & sewerage works, sports field development (including drainage, construction & maintenance), hard landscaping services, gritting services and plant hire.
With a reputation of reliability and flexibility, John Elliot Ltd has managed to grow the business responsibly and build a large network of clients with long-term relationships. Over that time we have built a reputation for quality work at a competitive price.
The company is run by John and his son Mark. Both are directors of John Elliot Ltd.
Over the years

- Our plant operators have CPCS certificates, and our grab wagon operators are HGV qualified and fully CPCS trained.
- Our energy & utility workers, where required, carry a EUSR ID Card.
- Our Excavators are LOLER tested on a 12 Monthly basis.
